Together with Débora Maehler (GESIS) and Ulrike Krause (IMIS, Osnabrück University), I had the privilege to organize the German-Canadian Conference on Migration & Integration: Young (Forced) Migrants and their Families which took place at Osnabrück University earlier this week (November 11-12, 2019). The two-day conference brought together scholars and practitioners from both countries for a fruitful exchange of thoughts and inspiring discussions. Further information is provided in the conference booklet and a short piece in the GESIS Report (06/2019, p. 6; in German). As organizers, we want to thank all presenters and participants for turning this event into a big success.
